Upcoming exhibitions

20.09.-08.12.2019: The Forum Botanical Art in Thüngersheim presents works by Mary Dillon, Sylvia Peter und Andreas Hentrich with the topic The motion of plant: a poetic approach to the astounding motions performed by allegedly motionless plants.

One piece of work by each of the three artists will be represented at the same time in an exhibition at the 16th International Exhibition for Botanical Art at the Hunt Institute in Pittsburgh, USA. The Hunt Institute is worldwide acknowledged as the most significant collection of historical and contemporary botanical books and pictures. Each handpicked artist may only once in his or her life contribute one painting to the collection.
